A Denim Thrifty Thursday

Denim material has been around since the 1500’s but it wasn’t until Bavarian born Levi Strauss made the first pair of blue jeans in 1873 that this fabulous fabric became a wardrobe staple…

my denim rebel self in the 90’s…

Every generation has their own take on denim but one of my fave pairings has always been jeans, a white blouse & a denim vest

and attempting to repeat the look in 2014 (with considerably less lipstick)

My refashioned Canadian Tuxedo is awesome!

Sunglasses (thrifted) €0.20 – Denim Vest (thrifted & refashioned) €1 – Blouse (thrifted & refashioned) €1 – Belt (gift) €0 – Jeans (had for years) €0 – Shoes (thrifted & refashioned) €3

Total cost: €5.20

  1. I know I’ve said this before, but I love love love seeing the older pictures of you! You did such a great job recreating the original look of the classy Canadian Tuxedo 🙂

  2. This is a great look! I’ve been afraid to try the denim on denim look, but I should really give it a try sometime! I love the old photo too! You look great in both though, seriously!

Don't be shy...lemme know what you think...
